Founded in 2020 out of the Santa Cruz based incubator Occam Labs, Capstan Medical brings together decades of experience in building and scaling medical technology companies. Founder Dan Wallace and CEO Maggie Nixon created a team with varied backgrounds that combine deep expertise in cardiac innovation and surgical robotics to develop next-generation, minimally invasive solutions for life-saving heart procedures.
