The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to help build and lead our accounting functions to support the growth of our business. The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities while serving as a key member of the management team and partner to the business. This role will support FP&A responsibilities and lead our upcoming ERP implementation initiative.
What you’ll do:
- Lead all accounting operations including monthly close, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and operational analytics
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
- Lead cash management and manage relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions
- Partner with business to ensure accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Develop operating metrics and conduct financial analysis to identify process improvements and support long-term strategic decisions
- Support the preparation of financial reports for the executive team and board of directors
- Oversee tax compliance and planning activities
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new ERP system
- Build the accounting function while mentoring and developing the accounting team
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject; CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software with experience in ERP system evaluation, selection, and implementation preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience building and managing an accounting team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reporting and data visualization tools
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience in the medical device industry or healthcare sector
- Experience with SEC Form S-1 filing and SEC public company requirements
- Experience with evaluating and establishing auditor engagement, audit preparation and compliance
- Experience with FP&A, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes

Compensation Range: 175K – 235K plus equity
